Preparing for Kindergarten
Show Notes

If you have a child starting Kindergarten this episode is not to be missed.

As a former preschool owner, I've supported lots of families with this shift and I thought it would be fun and informative to sit with veteran Kindergarten  teacher, Natalie Ferrier, to have a conversation about how you can support your children with this shift.

Our conversation focuses in on actionable strategies to support three areas:

1) Independence
2) Speaking for Needs
3) Self-Regulation

Note:
In the episode I share one of the strategies from my program Building Resilience Through Kindness for building skills for emotional regulation and I also note that I would include some of my favourite books in the show notes.
