Report Back to Me
Show Notes

One of my most popular back-to-school strategies, Report Back to Me is great for kids who are returning to school versus starting for the very first time.  If you caught Episode 4 on Goodbye Routines, this is a great addition to a Goodbye Routine for kids age 6+ and can be built out for many years.

This strategy gives your child actionable goals for school and turns after school conversations into positive connection.

Using the three step approach you can ensure you are creating process based goals to help your child build confidence, self-esteem, language of play and find elements they enjoy.

1) Learn Something New
2) Try Something Hard
3) Do Something Super Fun

Report Back to Me -> This is the most important step!

If you want to take the next step in setting yourself up for success this school year, enrol in my mini-course The Art of Saying Goodbye.  You will learn how to build a customized goodbye routine, how to gather parent clues to handle the ‘one mores’ and the importance of developing an understanding of goodbye with your child.
