We like to buy solutions to our parenting problems.
Here’s my cautionary tale. Don’t buy the solutions to parenting challenges that are promising a quick fix. They don’t last because they aren’t tackling the underlying problem, missing skill or challenge. It’s a bandaid when you actually need stitches.
Behaviour, habits and social emotional skills are all things that require commitment, consistency and a bit of practice and patience.
